Georgia Hunting License Information
Bird hunting licenses must now be purchased even on hunting preserves. The two year hunting preserve license cost $12 and can be purchased on line or at the Plantation. To save time it’s wise to purchase it in advance of your scheduled hunt. A Life Time Shooting Preserve License is $75
Big Game, Turkey, and Dove Licenses are available by calling (888) 748-6887 or by going on line www.gohuntgeorgia.com. Anyone born after January 1, 1961 must show proof of passing a state approved hunter safety course prior to purchasing any season license, or hunting at Burnt Pine Plantation. All licenses are sold on a cash only basis, and must be paid for at time of purchase, and are subject to change by Georgia law.
Resident Firearms license ($19.00) Includes season license and big game tags for 2 antlered and 10 antler-less deer.
Non-residents must purchase a Hunting & Fishing license in addition to a Big Game License $225.
